When I started, I had no real estate background except for reading a handful of real estate investing books. I was an officer in the United States Air Force making about 60k per year and living in a home I purchased. I was looking to be financially independent.
After reading The Weekend Millionaire’s Secrets to Investing in Real Estate my whole way of thinking about investing and financial independence changed. I now have 3 properties; one owner-occupied and two rentals with a combined 60k in equity and each has a positive cash flow.
I have not reached financial independence, but I am only 29 and have only been investing for 3 years. The Weekend Millionaire system has changed my life by giving me a long-term goal for the first time ever. I am now focusing my efforts on acquiring as many properties as I can through leverage in a way that will not require active management on my part. If a property fits the Weekend Millionaire equation, it is a goldmine and it starts another stream of income.
I have told several of my friends what I am doing and a few of them have purchased the Weekend Millionaire books and audio programs. I must admit, some of them are skeptical due to the title “Weekend Millionaire,” but when I explain the main points of the program, they buy and use the books and tapes.
Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts on your products. I hope my experience helps others make the decision to get started on the road to financial freedom the way I have been able to do.
