Roger_Dawson: Hi Mike and welcome Denny - you’re my hero

Roger_Dawson: Hi Al
Denny_Chipollini: thank you Roger
Mike_Summey: Everyone, Denny is here to get you off your duffs and jump started.
Mike_Summey: Hi Carleton
Mike_Summey: Hi zert
Roger_Dawson: Hi Carleton Sheets, thanks for joining us
Mike_Summey: Looks like we’re going to have a good crowd tonight.
Al_Lee: Carleton, we are here at the same time !!!
Carleton: Hello Mike, Roger, Al and everyone.
Mike_Summey: Denny, any words of wisdom to get us started tonight?
Mike_Summey: Hi 1099
1099: Hey Mike and everyone
Mike_Summey: John, was that you that emailed me today?
Mike_Summey: Hi Jerry
John_n_FL: yes
JerryIL: Hi,Mike.
Denny_Chipollini: i am very happy to be here, please bear with my slow typing…
Mike_Summey: John, I can call you at the number you gave me as soon as the chat is over and maybe you can give me what I need to get the order out to you tomorrow.
1099: Please Carleton explain to me what does no money down really means
Roger_Dawson: Here’s a little introduction for those of you who don’t know Denny: Denny shares how he survived a serious car accident that severed both his legs. Doctors reattached both legs, but 15 surgeries later his reattached left leg was amputated due to massive infection. But Denny refers to his accident and leg as gifts because these events helped him change his life for the better and tap into his unlimited potential. Four years after his accident and after being told he would never walk again, Denny ran his first five-kilometer race with the use of a prosthetic leg and continues to challenge himself by running marathons. In addition to running marathons to help share and inspire others with what he has learned in life since his accident, Denny also founded a non-profit organization called Generation Hope Fund in August 2001 with the mission of “inspiring and educating children and adults of all ages to overcome
adversity and accept diversity and to live life with ‘No Excuses … No Limits!’”
Mike_Summey: Denny, the typing will improve as the questions speed up.
Denny_Chipollini: Hopefully!
John_n_FL: Mike, OK.
1099: Hello Denny
Denny_Chipollini: Hey 1099!
Mike_Summey: Denny, what was the first BIG obstacle you faced after the accident?
Carleton: Denny, what an incredible story Mike has just related to us. God bless you for your courage and for wanting to help others.
1099: Denny was there any books that help you over come your accident?
sparky37: Denny what inspires you to keep knocking down hurdles?
Mike_Summey: Denny, notice I said first, because I know there had to be many.
Denny_Chipollini: The birth of my son, during surgery to save my left leg. And thank you Carleton for those nice words.
Denny_Chipollini: When the doctors told me that I would never walk again, I used that as a challenge, not as a sentence.
Mike_Summey: Denny, was your wife expecting when you had the accident?
Mike_Summey: Hi PUP
Denny_Chipollini: She was 8 months pregnant.
PUP123: Hi Mike and everyone
Mike_Summey: Hi Bob
Bob_Carr: Hi Mike
sparky37: when you rach the boiling point of frustration, what do you do to overcome it an move forward?
Mike_Summey: Hi Penny
sparky37: reach
Penny: Hi Mike.
Roger_Dawson: Hi Penny!
Denny_Chipollini: Set another goal.
Carleton: Hello Penny!
Penny: and Roger & Carleton!
1099: What mind set was you dealing with at that time Denny?
Penny: Crowds all here I see.
The_Krone: Do you use any of the mental “visualizations” that I’ve read about in so many real estate books. Picture yourself running a race, etc?
Mike_Summey: Denny brings out the best!!!
sparky37: got it, but if you are frustrated trying to achieve a goal do you re-adjust or re-tool to get to the goal and how?
Denny_Chipollini: I was not gonna let someone else tell me what I could not do without me trying and taking action on it.
Denny_Chipollini: Yes, Always am readjusting, as long as you keep moving forward.
Roger_Dawson: Krone, I find mental visualization very useful in human communication. If I think someone might not like me, I visualize them liking me.\
Mike_Summey: Denny, I can’t imagine the fear, anxiety and other worries that must have been on your mind when the accident occurred with your wife 8 months pregnant. WOW! And some of our investors think they are facing obstacles.
Mike_Summey: Hi Chin Boy & Mark.
MarkNC: Hi Mike, everyone
Chin_boy: Hi Mike, everyone
Mike_Summey: Krone, that’s what he does with me!
Carleton: If you don’t mind my asking, how old are you Denny? And have you shown this kind of excellence all your lifeor did the accident awaken something within you?
The_Krone: haha
Mike_Summey: :D
Denny_Chipollini: Agree with the visualization. On that day using it saved my life
Denny_Chipollini: Am 53.
1099: I see Denny that you have a yes I can mind set thats what I am working on.
sparky37: Denny what was your background before the accident? Were you a go-getter or part of the pack?
Mike_Summey: Denny, one of the most anxious days of my life was the day I closed on my first property and put my name on a mortgage for more money than I’d ever seen.
Denny_Chipollini: Carleton, the accident changed my life for the best. I view it as a gift.
The_Krone: Just wondering if any of the successful investors did that sort of thing when they were coming up. Writing down things like “I will make 1,000,000 within 5 years”, etc…
Denny_Chipollini: Was the cool guy. Trying to please the crowd.
Roger_Dawson: My ambition was to put “millionaire” on my business card.
Mike_Summey: The Krone, I wrote the statement “I will become a millionaire by age 30 and retire by age 50″ when I was 20 years old. I carried it with me for 30 years and made both goals.
Denny_Chipollini: My ambition now is to help others get through tough times through what I have learned.
Roger_Dawson: Denny, have you had a chance to meet with some of the injured heros coming back from Iraq?
1099: Al Lee is your wedsite back up?
Mike_Summey: Without goals, you are like a ship without a rudder. You go which ever way the wind blows you until you eventually run aground.
sparky37: Denny what was your occupation before the accident?
Al_Lee: 1099, Yes, I think everything is back up and working on the new servers
Denny_Chipollini: No, but made an attempt to visit them, no avail. Lots of red tape.
1099: What is your new servers AL?
Denny_Chipollini: Worked for UPS
Al_Lee: Denny, I bet I can help you to meet them. I am active in some oruganizatins that help veterans/
sparky37: Did they keep you employed after the accident?
Al_Lee: I moved everythign to godaddy.
The_Krone: Cool. Thanks Roger, Mike. I’ve heard that from other authors, as well. Just getting y’all’s take on it.
Denny_Chipollini: My e-mail is dman396@comcast.net Visit my web site. www.genhopeusa.org
Denny_Chipollini: No, was fired in 2003, because of Hepatitis C, due to blood transfusion from accident
Roger_Dawson: Say what!
The_Krone: Seems like that sort of thing would be against the law.
sparky37: What is the best advice you can give to people starting out facing all the obstacles (financial, family, etc)?
Denny_Chipollini: Yep!! This is after I rec. a National award from the CEO in 2000
Denny_Chipollini: Never,Never quit!!! Follow your heart. Sounds corney!
Denny_Chipollini: It was!! Ever hear of hippa?
1099: Denny did you have someone in your life that inspired you to move on with your life?
sparky37: Corney but true!
Mike_Summey: Denny, it just goes to show that life isn’t fair and if we want to succeed, we have to take personal responsibility and not wait for other to do for us.
Denny_Chipollini: I believed in myself, and had tons of support from family and friends as well.
Roger_Dawson: What’s hippa?
Al_Lee: Roger, a female hippopotamus
Denny_Chipollini: Health privacy act…
Mike_Summey: Al, it’s a male!
Denny_Chipollini: Cute!!
Al_Lee: Oh, I was mislead by the “a” ending
Denny_Chipollini: The act prevents anyone from obtaining private medical info.
sparky37: guess carleton was tired
Roger_Dawson: Either that or a third hurricane hit his house
Mike_Summey: Denny, we hear from people almost everyday who use their problems as excuses. I got an email today from someone who gave me a whole list of reasons why they couldn’t get started. What is funny is the I faced every single one of the problem on her list and was able to overcome them all.
sparky37: Denny do you do most of your work in pa?
1099: I agree with you Mike But the only problem is everyone seem to have a harder time dealing with problems.
Denny_Chipollini: The biggest problem in peoples lives is fear created by them selves, by stepping out, you can face those fears.
Chin_boy: Denny, how does one overcome an “excuse” when he or she is faced with one?
Mike_Summey: Solving financial problems is no different than solving physical problems. “You” have to do something…anything…just get started.
Denny_Chipollini: No, I work in the u.s. and Internationally
Chin_boy: Are there certain ‘action’ steps that you take?
Mike_Summey: 1099, with each little success, the problems become easier to face. the problem is you never get those little successes until you get started.
Denny_Chipollini: My biggest fear was I was afraid of heights. So I went skydiving… So face you excuses head on!
Mike_Summey: Hi lar
sparky37: Skydiving after the accident?
Mike_Summey: Hi Jane
1099: The fact is that everyone can make a different in their life if they want to you are a 1000% right Mike
Denny_Chipollini: Went skydiving 2 years ago. No more fear!! Think of the $$$ I saved on Therapy
lar: Good Evening All!
The_Krone: haha
sparky37: LOL
1099: Helle lar
The_Krone: High Speed Dirt Therapy
JANE7747: hey, y’all
Denny_Chipollini: You got it!
Al_Lee: Denny, I believe that it is diffucult to leave a comfortable spot to try for outstanding accomplishment. Most people are afraid of losing the little comfort they now have and will not take a risk. If disaster srtikes, they lost that comfortable spot and then must either be outstanding or perish. A few people might be wise enough to reach for outstanding goals without having to lose what they had first, but they are very exceptional. What do you think about that?
1099: Hey jane7747
Mike_Summey: Denny, I’ve been a pilot for over 30 years, but after each of my first few lessons, you could wring the perspiration (that’s sweat for you southerners) out of my shirt.
sparky37: Denny, I think biggest holdup in moving forward is fear of the unknown and wanting someone to hold your hand and guide you in right direction. How do you overcome that?
Denny_Chipollini: Al you nailed it.
John_n_FL: I haven’t any obstacles such as Dennys’, but I’ve listened to motivational tapes for years, and it’s helped me through tough times. and of course my faith in God.
Roger_Dawson: Persperation: the beads of water that appear on the gardener’s face during summer.
Al_Lee: John, I don;t think God wants us to be mediocre, do you?
1099: It not so much on what you have to do then who you have to become is my fav saying and very true
Roger_Dawson: Krone, can we assume that you’re from Denmark, since that’s the money there?
JANE7747: carleton?
Denny_Chipollini: Still get scared, but by accomplishing goals, it becomes easier. Set goals and reach them. Redirect if you must, but alway try to move ahead.
The_Krone: haha. Nosir. I’m from dfw, TX area.
Mike_Summey: Jane, Carleton was here earlier, but he had to go.
The_Krone: Someone brought me back a coin from Denmark, though. I have it on a chain.
JANE7747: you guys have no idea.
Mike_Summey: Jane, no idea about what?
John_n_FL: Al, he commands and deserves the best we have, only most folks don’t realize the power they have access to
JANE7747: about what’s realyy\]]][[[”’\\\\
Al_Lee: Krone, if you heard my radio show with Carleton as my guest, he said I was fortunate to be in the best opportunity areas in the US. I am in dfw, of course. That means you are too.
JANE7747: really important in life.
1099: Taping into you inner self is very important i agree Jane7747
The_Krone: I’m pretty pumped to get started. Haven’t heard the show as of yet, but am eager to hear it, sometime soon, Al.
Roger_Dawson: People like Denny are called stump busters in Australia. Farmers trying to plough a field but he can’t because his plow keeps hitting buried tree stumps. Most of them give up but a few have the tenacity to become stump-busters.
sparky37: Al where is the show on
1099: Al show is great
Mike_Summey: Throughout my life I’ve always gotten the most enjoyment from those things that made my heart race and the hair stand up on my neck. When I was doing things liek that, I knew I was stretching and would be a bigger person for having done it.
The_Krone: I like that visualization. Plowing through stumps with determination and grit.
Denny_Chipollini: I used the visualization when I was bleeding to the point of dying, it helped me slow the bleeding by putting me mentally safe in the hospital.
Al_Lee: You can hear my show live every Sunday at 2pm Central time–it is webcast from www.myRentProperty.com or www.RentHouses.org. It is broadcast on air from Dallas Fort Worth at 1360 kc AM. You can year the archived recording of the show fro eith erof the websites, too. Just click Streaming Audio.
The_Krone: Mike, I taped your “strengthen your weaknesses rather than your strengths” quote to my computer monitor at work. Had my oldest boy read the article and give me a sumarization. Thanks for postin’ those articles.

sparky37: Denny you have 2 children?
lar: Anyone here in the North East?
Denny_Chipollini: Yes, Nicholas 16, Elyse 13
Mike_Summey: I just enjoy being able to share some of the good fortune I’ve had. That’s why I write the columns.
The_Krone: Denny, that last comment is amazing.
Chin_boy: Denny - thanks for coming out and chatting with us. Mike, Roger, Al and everyone have a great night. Bye
sparky37: How old were you when the accident happened?
Denny_Chipollini: It works in everyday life. Visualize what you want, and go for it.
Denny_Chipollini: I was 36
1099: Yes the articles are great Mike
Roger_Dawson: Denny, I heard that you got to carry the Olympic torch in Philly. How was that?
Al_Lee: Denny, what do yo udo as an occupation now?
Mike_Summey: Denny, don’t you think that visualization could help stop the financial bleeding some are sufferring jsut as it stopped the actual bleeding for you?
Denny_Chipollini: Awesome! What a experience
John_n_FL: Roger, I’m completing Mike and your WM books, and realizing how much I need yours on negotiating. So you;re next.
Denny_Chipollini: Motivational Speaker, and Fitness Trainer
Roger_Dawson: How did you get picked to carry the torch?
sparky37: Denny Have you ever worked with Pat Croce?
Denny_Chipollini: Was nominated by many local people
Roger_Dawson: Thanks John, I think you’ll enjoy them. My website is rdawson.com
Denny_Chipollini: Visualization can help in every aspect of life.
Mike_Summey: John, Roger’s negotiating tapes are the best I have ever listened to. I got them long before I met Roger and have made a fortune with what I’ve learned from them.
Denny_Chipollini: Spoke with Pat Croce~
Mike_Summey: Hi Doug, where ya been?
1099: Roger do you have any books for novices on negotiation I understand with out this no investor could invest so it is important
lar: I’m looking to invest in the Albany NY area, anyone have info on the market there?
Doug_in_CT: I was out collecting a nice 2 month deposit on a “house for rent’
Mike_Summey: 1099, Roger’s Secrets of Power Negotiating is the best negotiating program for a novice in the world.
John_n_FL: Mike, probably my weakest trait. looking forward to improving w/ roger’s tapes.
1099: Thanks Mike
Mike_Summey: Doug, okay, we’ll forgive you then.
Doug_in_CT: Albany is a very good market to invest in, lar, you have government and education stabilizing the market.
sparky37: Roger can I trade in my cassettes for the cd’s?
Mike_Summey: lar, Doug knows that area and is doing quite well.
Roger_Dawson: 1099 pick up my book Secrets of Power Negotiation Second Edition. You can call my office tomorrow for a copy (800-932-9766) or get it from Amazon.com

Denny_Chipollini: Not at the moment
Al_Lee: sparkey, you are trying to negotiate with the master. before this is over Roger will have you buying the cd’s and paying a disposal fee for getting rid of the cassettes.

Mike_Summey: If the crusie finalizes, it will be one of the best experiences any investor could have. It will truly be a learning cruise, not a come on for other things.
